The MAUSER Original Hunting Dagger is a traditional hunting tool and was developed for killing game. A hunting dagger is preferable to a firearm in certain situations, for example when game that has been located and cornered by dogs needs to be killed, and shooting would pose a risk for the people and animals nearby. The crossguard enables safer working. The hunting dagger has a blade that is sharpened on both sides made of 440C steel with blood grooves as well as a slightly rounded knife blade that facilitates penetration into the game and prevents the knife from becoming stuck in the bone.
440C is a stainless steel with good hardness, corrosion resistance, and sharpness. The full-tang design, with the blade and handle made from a single piece of steel, ensures extremely good steadiness. The handles are made of robust G-10 composite material, are ergonomically adapted to hunting tasks, and ensure a reliable, non-slip grip. The knife can be stored in the supplied leather sheath with belt loop.
